Varsity Tutors, a Los Angeles-based tutoring service that aims to improve the academic achievement of all students by providing high quality individualized tutoring services that foster intellectual and personal development in a positive learning atmosphere, is introducing a scholarship that will award a winning high school student a $1,000 prize each month.
Varsity Tutors will offer a $1,000 college scholarship contest to students who write the best essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage will be able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The top five entries with the most votes will be reviewed by Varsity Tutors and one winner will be chosen who will receive a $1,000 college scholarship.
EligibilityCurrent high school student planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution or current college student in the U.S.
