- American Freedom Foundation/Kaplan University Military Scholarship
The mission of the American Freedom Foundation (AFF) is to honor the men and women of our armed forces and to raise awareness for their service and sacrifice. Partial scholarships covering over 50% of tuition costs are available through the end of October 2013 to spouses or dependent children of active-duty servicemembers, including the National Guard and Reserve.
- The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. Fifty New Century Gold Scholars are awarded $1,500, fifty Silver Scholars are awarded $1,250, and fifty Bronze Scholars are awarded $1,000.
- Veterans United Foundation Scholarship
Five bi-annual $2,000 scholarships are offered to active-duty service members, veterans, spouses of military members or veterans, surviving spouses of fallen soldiers, or children of military members or veterans.
- Student Scholarship for the Best Paper Lance Stafford Larson
An active member of the IEEE Computer Society is awarded $500 is for the best paper concerning computer-related subjects.
- The Christopher Reeve Award
$1000 is presented each year to an extraordinary high school senior or younger student who has demonstrated tremendous courage, compassion and caring in serving his or her community. Applicants must be nominated for this award.
